My Work

So... Yes i work at McDonalds,
I started working at McDonald's late year 10 (close to 3 years ago now) and i wasn't planning on staying there for too long. However, i started to like working there as i became more confident in what i had to do and making more friends. I got offered a promotion to Crew Trainer which meant wearing a blue uniform and training new staff to the store when i was in Year 11. At the start of my final year of school i got offered a second promotion to Area Leader which meant i would be in charge of parts of the store when rostered which can be a very stressful job when busy. I accepted and became the first Area Leader of Palm Beach.

During this time i have made numerous close friends from working at McDonald's that i hang out with almost every week. I also managed to convince some of my school friends to join the team as well, which makes work even more fun. I have been offered another promotion to shift manager but am yet to decide if i want to become a manager or not as it would mean an increase in hours away from studies and home.

I am so grateful for my job that has provided me numerous skills ranging from how to talk to customers (even when they are angry) to how to make a cheeseburger and i am proud to say that i am friends with everyone there.
